Defying all logic, this imperial mutant IPA/Stout was created by divine intervention. Seriously. \During a Taptakover one night with the little rascals at Van Moll, a certain beer beatnik got the bright idea to mix our Dr. Raptor Imperial IPA with their Ons Blacky Imperial Stout and.... \Sweet Jesus! They say imperials aren't made overnight, but that's B.S. This Doctor Manhattan range bomb proves otherwise. True story, my friends. True story. \n \There are probably people wondering, Black & Tan? Never heard of that beer style. If you haven't, you'll find out now! The Black & Tan beer style takes its name from mixing two beers of different colors. First, a pale ale to represent the "Tan." On top of that, a dark beer to get the "Black." Usually these dark beers are stouts, and in our case, that's Van Moll's Imperial stout; Our Blacky. \n \The combination of our Imperial IPA and Imperial stout makes one of the finest Black & Tans you will ever see. The best of both worlds as we call it. The ABV percentage of 9.5% doubles this beer as a "take it slow" kinda beer (although that's entirely up to you, we won't tell).
