What is Wit beer?

What's the secret behind white beer? An equal distribution of 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted wheat. Although inspired by the German weizenbier, it is quite different. Where weizen emphasizes the full wheat flavor, white beer brewers dare to be more creative with additions such as coriander seeds, anise, cloves and citrus peel. These spices provide a fruity and distinct flavor experience. The alcohol content of white beer usually fluctuates between 4.5% and 5%.
