Why is it a perfect combo?
The magic words here are freshness/sourness vs savory/fatty. The Domino's Perfect Pepperoni Pizza is a delight in itself and represents the savory and greasy side of things. With greasiness, you can do a lot gastronomically. On the one hand, you could choose a malty and sweet beer. That brings out the greasiness in a pizza. On the other hand, you can make it more exciting and contrasting. And that's what we chose. Adding orange to the wheat beer makes the beer a bit more acidic, and combined with the high carbonation, that perfectly balances the greasiness of the pizza.
