Uiltje of Prey Peach is brewed on a light malt base of Pilsner Malt, Extra Pale Malt, and Acid Malts. This combination gives the beer a clean, crisp foundation that allows the hops to shine. Centennial, Amarillo, El Dorado, El Dorado CGX, and Nelson Sauvin SubZero were used for the hop addition. This is a blend of classic and more modern hop varieties that together create a fresh and fruity aroma. In addition to water, barley malt, hops, and yeast, the beer also contains peach juice concentrate (0.5%) and a small amount of peach extract, according to the official ingredient list. These ingredients are subtly incorporated so that they primarily support the hop and malt base without complicating the brewing process more than necessary.
On the palate, Uiltje of Prey Peach offers a combination of a light, grainy body and a pronounced hoppy character, with a soft peach note from the peach juice concentrate running through it. The Pilsner Malt and Extra Pale Malt keep the profile light, while the Acid Malts provide a subtly fresh undertone. The hop varieties deliver a blend of citrus, stone fruit, and light grape-like accents, in keeping with their individual characteristics.
