Uiltje Imperial March Can, 33 cl
Are we flirting with Star Wars? Maybe, maybe not. But even a probe droid would recognize iconic label art if it saw it! The truth is, this isn’t the first time Uiltje has ridden Uiltje TIE Fighter rodeo. We’ve been brewing against conformity and oppression since 2012. This dark, thick, rich, and chocolatey Imperial Stout is simply our latest battleground for hop-driven individuality and expression. Every sip is a galactic middle finger to tyrants, both real and imagined.

The Uiltje March 33cl can is brewed with a combination of Pilsner Malt, Cara 120, MRoast 900, Pealed Roasted Barley, and Brown Malt. This blend gives the beer a solid foundation of malt flavors ranging from light to intensely roasted. Centennial hops are used as the sole hop variety, resulting in a distinct and recognizable hop character without additional aromatic layers. During the brewing process, water, barley malt, hops, and yeast are used in accordance with the official ingredient list. The roasted malts used contribute to color and roasted notes, while the lighter malts provide structure and balance. As a result, Uiltje March 33cl can remains clear in character and fully focused on the characteristics of the malts used.
The flavor clearly reflects the influence of the various roasted malts, ranging from light caramel notes to more pronounced roasted tones. The Brown Malt and roasted barley create a deep, dark character, while Pilsner Malt provides a neutral base. The Centennial hops add a bitterness that complements the malt profile without overshadowing it. Thanks to this composition, Uiltje March 33cl can offers a direct, accessible flavor profile in which malts take center stage. The beer thus highlights the natural characteristics of its ingredients, without additives or additional flavor components. This makes it a clear and well-structured interpretation of a heavy, malt-forward beer.
