It’s harvest time and oh how the seasonal window for fresh hops is short. Fact is, by the time you read it the harves is over. But Uiltje set aside our beloved Uiltjeverse mayhem to seize the day and brew “probably the hoppiest beer we’ve made this year … by far”. Sure, it required some James Bond-esque wheeling and dealing to get 350 kilos of farm-fresh Mandarina Bavaria from southern Germany into the kettle of our Haarlem brewery within 24 hours. But that’s not the right question. The right question is: was it worth it! Answer: yeah baby! Hop In Your Heart is Holland’s most bad-*ss fresh hop IPA of 2026*.
